The team behind NYC Visa & Translation
Our team combines attorneys registered as Notarial Services Attorneys with the Lawyers Council of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, translators and in-house reviewers, visa advisors, and liaison officers who work daily with the Department of Consular Affairs and foreign embassies — over 15 years of combined cross-border document experience. We do not only file on your behalf: we advise, before you spend anything, on which documents are required, how many certification layers apply, and where refusals typically come from. - Are you an agency, or an advisory firm?
- Both, deliberately. We file and process documents end-to-end, and we advise beforehand on which documents are genuinely required, the correct order of certification, and the risks that most often cause refusal. The initial assessment is free.
- How much experience does the team have?
- The core team has over 15 years of combined experience in cross-border documentation, visas and certification. The company was registered on 27 February 2019 and serves all 77 Thai provinces through online and postal handling.
- How is a Thai Notary Public different from one abroad?
- Thailand has no Notary Public office in the common-law sense. Instead, lawyers who complete the prescribed training may register as Notarial Services Attorneys under the Lawyers Council regulation B.E. 2551, and it is their certification that foreign authorities accept.
- Can I verify the certifying attorney's credentials?
- Yes. We name the certifying attorney before work starts, and licence status can be checked with the Lawyers Council of Thailand. Every certified document carries the attorney's signature, seal and registration number.
- Can I consult you without committing to a job?
- Yes. Send document images and tell us the destination authority; we will tell you what is needed and what it will cost before you decide.
- Which languages does the team work in?
- Consultations are handled in Thai and English, and translation is delivered in all major world languages through our specialist translator network, always with in-house review before certification.
