FAQ

Do Thai passport holders need a visa for Vietnam?
No — ASEAN reciprocity grants Thai ordinary passports visa-free entry up to 30 days for tourism/business. Long stays, work, and study require Vietnamese consular visas (DN1/DN2 business, LĐ1/LĐ2 work, TT dependant, DH student).
E-visa vs consular visa — which do we file?
E-visa (evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn) covers 90-day single/multiple entry for 80+ nationalities including all EU/US/UK/AU/CA — US$25 single, US$50 multiple, 3 business days. For work (LĐ), business sponsorship (DN), or dependant (TT), we file consular applications through the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangkok or Consulate in Khon Kaen (yes — closest to our HQ).
Work permit (Giấy phép lao động) — what do you need?
Bachelor's degree + 3 yr experience OR 5 yr experience letter, criminal record (Thai + Vietnam if resident >6 mo), notarised diploma, health check from MOH-approved hospital, photos, employer's demand approval from DOLISA. Valid up to 2 yr. We handle full legalisation + Vietnamese translation via our sworn translators.
Temporary Residence Card (TRC / Thẻ tạm trú)?
After work permit issued, you may apply for TRC 1–5 yr matching contract. Allows unlimited entries, avoids visa runs, spouse/children can join under TT card. We coordinate with your employer's immigration officer.
Timeline & fees?
E-visa: 3 wd, US$25–50. Consular DN/LĐ: 5–7 wd, embassy fee US$25 + our service THB 4,500 (e-visa) / THB 12,000 (DN business) / THB 25,000 (LĐ work permit + TRC coordination).
Common rejection reasons?
Inconsistent employer sponsor letters, missing DOLISA demand approval before LĐ filing, unlegalised diplomas, criminal record older than 6 months, or e-visa photo cropped incorrectly (must be 4×6 cm, white background, no glasses).
