Payroll, Social Security & Workmen's Compensation
An employer with one or more employees must register as an employer and enrol insured persons within 30 days of hiring under the Social Security Act B.E. 2533. Section 33 contributions are ordinarily 5 percent from each side on a wage base floored at THB 1,650 and capped at THB 15,000 per month, so a maximum of THB 750 each per month, remitted with form SPS.1-10 by the 15th of the following month. Separately, the employer funds the Workmen's Compensation Fund under the Compensation Act B.E. 2537. Contribution rates have been temporarily reduced by ministerial regulation in the past, so confirm the rate applying to the month being filed.
Updated August 2026 and based on the Revenue Code and related legislation. Rates and e-Filing extensions change — verify with the Revenue Department (rd.go.th) before acting.
