Quick answer

A business whose annual taxable turnover exceeds THB 1.8 million must apply for VAT registration within 30 days under section 85/1 of the Revenue Code, and thereafter file form PP.30 by the 15th of the following month under section 83 — including nil months. A limited company files PND.50 with audited financial statements within 150 days of its accounting year end under section 68, and the half-year PND.51 within two months of the end of the first six months under section 67 bis. Withholding tax is remitted on PND.3 (individual payees) or PND.53 (juristic payees) by the 7th under section 52. Social security contributions under section 33 of the Social Security Act B.E. 2533 are 5 percent on a wage base capped at THB 15,000, so a maximum of THB 750 per side per month, due by the 15th.
