Labour cases follow the special procedure in the Act on Establishment of and Procedure for Labour Court B.E. 2522 (1979), which prioritises conciliation and exempts the parties from court fees under Section 27. Severance pay on dismissal without cause is calculated by length of service under Section 118 of the Labour Protection Act B.E. 2541 (1998). Unfair dismissal is a separate ground: the Labour Court may order reinstatement or damages under Section 49 of the 1979 Act.
