Court fees in claims with a monetary value follow Table 1 annexed to the Civil Procedure Code. Jurisdiction is based on the defendant's domicile or where the cause of action arose (Section 4). District (Kwaeng) Courts hear lower-value civil claims under Sections 17 and 25 of the Courts of Justice Organisation Act. Mediation is available before and during proceedings, and enforcement of a final judgment must generally be commenced within 10 years.
