A police clearance certificate is issued by the Royal Thai Police Criminal Records Division. Applicants provide fingerprints, identity documents and evidence of purpose, such as a visa or employer request. Processing normally takes a few working days to a few weeks, and for overseas use the certificate is then translated and legalized.
