MFA Legalization and Apostille for Thai Documents — Complete Guide
Short answer first
Thai documents used abroad are legalized by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and then by the destination country's embassy where required. The standard consular fee is THB 200 per document, or THB 400 for express service. Thailand's accession to the Apostille Convention takes effect on 28 February 2027; until then the MFA plus embassy chain remains in force.
