- Is Ireland part of Schengen?
- No. Ireland is EU but NOT in Schengen — a Schengen visa does NOT let you into Ireland. Thai passport holders need a separate Irish Short-Stay 'C' visa or Long-Stay 'D' visa. Northern Ireland uses UK rules (separate UK visa).
- Where to apply from Bangkok?

Employer applies for permit at DBEI first (12 wk), then you file the D visa in New Delhi (8 wk). We coordinate both sides.

- Critical Skills holders qualify for Stamp 4 after 2 years (unlocks any employer, spouse work rights).
