Korea Visa from Thailand

Thai passport holders are ineligible for K-ETA (since April 2024) — every trip needs a proper C-3-9 visa. We handle refusal-heavy tourist files, D-2/D-4 study, E-7 specialist, F-6 marriage, and the H-1 Working Holiday quota race.

Quick Answer

C-3-9 tourist fee THB 1,400. Refusal rate for first-time Thai applicants runs 25–35%. Our service from THB 5,500 (C-3-9) to THB 28,000 (D-8 investor). Interview only for D-2/E-7/F-6.

  2. Employment continuity letter (Thai + English) signed by HR + payslips.
  3. Land title / condo deed / vehicle registration = property ties.
  4. Confirmed KAL/TG/OZ round-trip + Korean hotel bookings.
  5. Day-by-day English itinerary + Korean-embassy-approved insurance.
  6. Prior travel stamps (Japan/Singapore/EU strong; Cambodia/Laos weak).

FAQ

K-ETA or C-3-9 visa?
Since April 2024, Thai passport holders are NOT part of K-ETA visa-waiver — you MUST apply for a proper C-3-9 short-term visa for tourism. C-3-9 is single-entry, 90-day max stay, filed at Korean Embassy Bangkok (23 Thiam-Ruammit Road) or via the authorised Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC).
Why so many refusals for Thai passports?
MOFA Korea flags Thai applicants as high overstay-risk (previously ~11% overstay to work illegally). Refusal rate for first-time solo applicants without strong ties runs 25–35%. Your file must overcome this baseline. We build the ties dossier: 6-month bank flow ≥ THB 200,000, employment letter, land title / condo deed, family dependents, prior travel history to Japan/Singapore/EU.
How long?
C-3-9 tourist: 6–10 working days standard. D-2 student: 2–4 weeks after Certificate for Confirmation of Visa Issuance (CCVI) issued by Korean university. D-8 investor / E-7 specialist: 4–6 weeks after CCVI, plus in-Korea Alien Registration Card within 90 days of arrival.
Fees?
C-3-9 THB 1,400 (single-entry). D-2 Student THB 2,500. D-8/E-7 THB 3,200 + THB 3,200 for multi-entry conversion. Our service THB 5,500 (C-3-9 tourist) to THB 28,000 (D-8 investor with business plan Korean-translated).
F-6 marriage visa — what's different?
F-6 requires the Korean spouse to complete the KIIP orientation (International Marriage Guidance Program, 4-hour session at their local Korean immigration office) BEFORE filing. Thai spouse then needs TOPIK Level 1 certificate or KIIP Stage 1 to prove basic Korean. We coordinate both sides.
Working Holiday (H-1)?
Thailand has a bilateral quota of 500 H-1 slots per year with Korea, ages 18–30, single, no dependents. Opens twice a year (usually Feb & Aug). We track the quota, prepare the itinerary + THB 100,000 proof, and file on opening day — slots close within 48 hours.
