Q1014. When must financial statements be filed with the DBD?

Answered by the NYC Visa & Translation accounting and tax team

A limited company must hold its annual general meeting to approve the financial statements within four months of the financial year end under the Civil and Commercial Code, and file the approved statements with the Department of Business Development within one month of that approval. Registered partnerships file within five months of the closing date. Filing is done through DBD e-Filing, and the shareholder list, form BorOrJor.5, must be submitted within 14 days of the meeting. Ask our Thai accounting team to review your position by phone, LINE or email before you file.

Based on the Revenue Code, the Accounting Act B.E. 2543 and related law as at August 2026. General information only, not advice on a specific matter — verify with the Revenue Department (rd.go.th) before acting.
