Compare the returned name with the person responsible for your translation, then check the credential type, language combination, direction, and current status. For Thai documents going to Australia, the relevant direction is Thai into English; interpreting credentials alone are not translation credentials. If a digital stamp includes a QR code, check that it leads to an authentic NAATI verification page. An absent public directory listing is not necessarily proof of invalid credentials. If details conflict or you are checking a historical translation, contact NAATI for clarification.
