Supply clear colour scans of every relevant page, including dates, marginal notes, corrections, and any accompanying identification requested by the receiving authority. Unreadable wording should be marked as illegible rather than guessed. If you provide a typed transcription to help decipher handwriting, include the original handwritten pages so the translator can compare them. Ask the Department of Home Affairs or other receiving body whether separate evidence of authorship is needed. Translation certification concerns the translation; it does not turn a private diary into independently verified evidence.
