Q573. How to notarize a marriage certificate for use abroad?

A Thai marriage certificate is usually translated, the translation certified by the MFA Department of Consular Affairs, and then legalized by the destination country's embassy. Many countries do not require a notary at all for this, so read the destination's checklist first.
