§ Notarial Services Attorney

Licensed Notary Public Attorneys 6 registered

Our team comprises six Notarial Services Attorneys. Before arranging a signing, verify the assigned attorney's name and registration status with the Lawyers Council of Thailand, and check the recipient's requirements for the certifier and certification format. Notarial certification does not guarantee acceptance by an embassy or foreign authority, or visa approval.

Urgent notary work: what may be done today and what cannot be rushed

Clients asking for urgent help often have a flight or bank appointment approaching. We explain the position honestly: we can arrange the notarial stage around attorney availability, but no provider can promise a government authority's or embassy's processing time.

01

What we can try to expedite

We can review documents when they arrive, arrange signing when an attorney is available and prepare translations alongside the notarial work. If the recipient needs only the attorney's certificate, the work may be completed in one appointment.
02

What we cannot control

Department of Consular Affairs and embassy queues are outside our control. Department of Consular Affairs legalisation: regular THB 200 / express THB 400 per legalisation sticker. THB 400 is the total express charge, not an extra 400, and express is available only for eligible Thai-government documents and the English translations listed in Announcement 23/2565. Other authorities may or may not offer an express service. We can check availability, but cannot make that decision for them.
03

The most effective way to save time

Send the recipient's requirements first. Work that has to be repeated because the original instructions were misunderstood often causes the longest delays.

Indicative fees

Urgent work may involve an additional service charge, explained before work starts.

Ask our team for a quotation. Service charges are confirmed in writing after document review. Government and embassy fees are payable at the relevant authority's current rates.

Requirements set by receiving authorities, embassies and the Department of Consular Affairs may change. Check with the relevant official authority or document recipient before every submission. We do not guarantee any authority's decision.

Frequently asked questions

Does Thailand have notaries public?
Thailand uses Notarial Services Attorneys registered with the Lawyers Council of Thailand for notarial acts within their permitted scope. Acceptance abroad depends on the recipient. Ask which certifier, wording and any additional authentication it requires; notarial certification is not the same as an Apostille.
What documents can a Notarial Services Attorney certify?
Commonly certified items include signatures on powers of attorney, affidavits and statutory declarations, certified true copies of passports and corporate documents, company resolutions and share transfer forms, sponsorship and consent letters, and the identity of a signatory for foreign banks, universities and courts. The attorney certifies the signing act or copy fidelity — not the truth of the content.
Do I have to sign in person?
Yes. The attorney must see the signatory in person together with the original passport or Thai ID before certifying a signature, which is the core safeguard of the service. Remote or scanned signatures cannot be certified. Mobile appointments at your office, condominium lobby or a nearby café are available if you cannot come to ours.
How much does notarial certification cost and how fast is it?
Attorney notarial certification is quoted after document review, with the final price depending on the number of documents, signatories and whether the appointment is mobile or out of hours. The certification itself is completed during the appointment; only the subsequent MFA and embassy steps add working days.
