Q1009. Is there an express or fast-track service available for Thai police background checks?

Answered by NYC Visa & Translation
Do not assume an official express or fast-track option exists; ask the Royal Thai Police Police Clearance Service Center whether any expedited procedure is currently available for your application type. If an agency advertises faster service, distinguish its own document-preparation or courier turnaround from the police authority’s issuance process. Request a written explanation of what is expedited, who performs it, and which charges are official versus private. Preparing complete records and acceptable fingerprints can help avoid preventable delays, but it cannot guarantee earlier issuance. For an urgent visa deadline, also ask the destination embassy or immigration authority whether it permits later submission of the certificate.
