The main Ministry of Foreign Affairs legalization location in Bangkok is the Department of Consular Affairs on Chaeng Watthana Road in Lak Si. Check the Department’s official website for current service locations, opening arrangements, booking requirements, and submission methods before traveling. Do not confuse the legalization office with other MFA offices in Bangkok. Prepare the original document, any required translation, identification, and copies specified for your document type. If someone submits on your behalf, confirm the authorization documents they must carry. Requirements can differ for Thai public documents, private documents, and foreign-issued documents.
