Q1401. Where do I get the medical exam and police clearance for foreign visas?

Answered by the NYC Visa & Translation team
These two documents are standard for long-term visas in nearly every country: (1) the medical exam must be done only at clinics/hospitals designated by that country's embassy (panel physicians) — the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK all have approved clinic lists in Bangkok; exams done elsewhere are invalid (2) the Thai police clearance certificate is obtained from the Royal Thai Police Criminal Records Centre, stating the purpose of use abroad, then translated and legalised as required (3) some countries require police certificates from every country where you have lived beyond a set period. Watch out: results and certificates have limited validity — align the timeline with your interview date — and never open sealed medical results if the embassy requires them sealed. Our team books the correct clinic, obtains the police certificate, certifies translations, and sequences the timing. This is general guidance; requirements and fees change — always verify with the destination country's embassy or immigration authority before proceeding.
