  • Thai Naturalization (must show clean Thai record 5+ years)
  • Marriage registration with Thai spouse (used at อำเภอ or จังหวัด)
  • Home-country visa renewal (must show Thai record while residing here)

Immigration Certificate of Residence — critical for foreigners

For foreigners, กองทะเบียนฯ requires proof of address in Thailand. This is issued by Immigration Bureau (แจ้งที่อยู่). NYC helps arrange the Certificate of Residence + English translation as part of the package.
  • Certificate of Residence Immigration (จตุจักร/ต่างจังหวัด): 3-5 days, สอบถามราคา
  • Certificate of Residence Embassy (สถานทูตของคุณ): 15-25 USD, faster
  • TM.30 registration compliance check (before applying)
  • 90-day report status verification
04

Chain 5 ขั้น — Thai PCC → Home Country Ready

สำหรับส่งกลับประเทศบ้านเกิด NYC จัด chain 5 ขั้นเบ็ดเสร็จ:
  • 1. พิมพ์ลายนิ้วมือที่ NYC หรือกองทะเบียนฯ (walk-in with passport + Certificate of Residence)
(EN/DE/JP/CN/KR/RU/FR/ES) — Certified translator
  • 5. MFA Consular Affairs + Home Country Embassy Bangkok
05

Special case — Apostille once in force (28 Feb 2027)

Since The Hague Apostille Convention enters into force for Thailand on December 12, 2024, PCC intended for use in Apostille countries no longer needs embassy chain — just Apostille from MFA. This cuts 5-10 days and สอบถามราคา from the process.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to speak Thai?+

No — our English-speaking team handles all communication with กองทะเบียนฯ. Consult available in EN/CN/JP/KR/RU/DE/FR.

How long have I lived in Thailand — does it matter?+

For most purposes, no minimum. But for PR/Naturalization, PCC covers the full residency period. We advise based on your visa history.

Certificate of Residence — Immigration or Embassy?+

Immigration is cheaper (สอบถามราคา) but takes 3-5 days queue. Embassy is faster but 15-25 USD. Both accepted by กองทะเบียนฯ.

Fingerprints at home country embassy in Bangkok?+

Some embassies (US, UK, AU, DE) offer this. We coordinate the appointment for you.

Which countries will accept Thai Apostille once it is in force (28 Feb 2027)?+

Once the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 Feb 2027, 130+ Hague member states: USA, all EU, UK, AU, NZ, Japan, Korea, Russia, India, etc. Only China (mainland), UAE, Saudi still need embassy chain.

What if my Thai visa is Non-Immigrant B and Work Permit only?+

Still eligible — Section 8 accepts any legal resident. Bring Work Permit + Passport + Certificate of Residence.

Frequently asked questions

Where is a Thai police clearance certificate issued and what is needed?
For overseas-use police certificates, consult the Police Clearance Service Center, Special Branch Bureau. Its website lists current office details, forms and separate instructions for applicants in Thailand and abroad. Prepare identification, purpose documents and Thai residence evidence where applicable, and follow the fingerprint requirements for your application channel.
How long does the certificate take?
Use the issuing office’s current processing estimate and allow for missing evidence, further checks and delivery. Translation or authentication, where required, adds separate stages. A preparation service cannot guarantee the police issue date.
Can someone apply on my behalf while I am overseas?
The official overseas guidance allows postal submission or someone in Thailand submitting on your behalf. Follow its requirements for original fingerprints, identification copies, power of attorney and representative identification. Confirm any certification requirements with the issuing office rather than assuming notarization is always needed.
Does the certificate expire?
The receiving authority sets the acceptable certificate age for the particular application. Ask for its written rule and sequence the certificate, delivery and follow-on work around that deadline; do not assume a universal validity period.
